Steve Van Remortel Biography:

Steve Van Remortel, a certified Vistage speaker, is an award-winning author, speaker, advisor, entrepreneur, SaaS founder, investor, and thought leader in Strategy and Talent Planning. As the founder of Stop the Vanilla, LLC in 1999, Steve trains small to medium sized businesses (SMBs) on how-to build a great place to work by increasing communication, retention, succession and productivity through talent planning period.

Prior to founding Stop the Vanilla, LLC, Steve led a manufacturing company from $4.5 million to $30 million in five years, gaining invaluable experience in resolving people-related issues—the number one factor limiting business growth. This journey inspired him to develop Talent Planning and launch MyTalentPlanner Inc., a software solution that helps SMBs to attract, hire, develop, and retain talent aligned with their vision.

As a Vistage speaker, Steve trains leaders on how to nurture a thriving and engaging culture by investing in developing the total person.
